Emory Cuts Grady Debt $20 Million

Did you know that all the doctors at Grady are faculty or residents from Emory University School of Medicine or Morehouse School of Medicine? Emory and Grady have a financially beneficial relationship. Emory's faculty brings paying patients into Grady and Grady pays Emory's faculty very little in proportion to their overall budget. Under 5% actually. With this relationship comes many other types of responsibilities to tackle together as one team. Research Grants have to go through a series of checks and balances to gain approval from multiple departments, a process that can take months. This is just one aspect of many complicated processes in this relationship. One that needs some undivided attention to gain efficacy and structure. As you can see in the article I've posted, this is not a problem for these two facilities. Emory is every ready to step up to the plate when called upon.
